Needle Felting Fall Workshop
October 11 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Join Amelia as she instructs you on needle felting an autumn scene, from pumpkins to gourds to cats.
Needle felting is a method of felt crafting that can be utilized with (dry felting) or without water (wet felting). All that is needed is a notched needle, wool roving, and a soft cushion to catch your needle. For this workshop, we will be going through what is called “wool painting,” a two-dimensional wool project where we will use felt sheets and embroidery hoops to create our finished piece.
Amelia is a freelance illustrator who is looking to share her journey of working with textile artwork, specifically needle felting.
This program is for adults and teens 16+.
This program is made possible by a grant from the Warren County Division of Cultural & Heritage Affairs.
