Reading Challenges

Throughout the year different challenges will be available to readers on our Beanstack site. Some will be seasonal, like Summer Reading, while some will be one-time events. Some are limited by age group, while some are not. Please check below for guidelines and available challenges!

How it works:

1. REGISTER

• Go to hackettstownlibrary.beanstack.org
  • Create an account with Beanstack (or log into an existing account)
  • Choose the Reading Challenge that suits you
  • Each challenge has its own badges and prizes

2. RAFFLE

• Log your reading to receive badges every time you read a certain number of books – these badges also come with raffle tickets
  • Ebooks, audiobooks, and graphic novels count
  • You also get badges and tickets for attending programs or completing activities

3. REWARDS!

• Put your tickets towards prizes
  • Tickets for prizes will be accepted up until the final date of the challenge
  • Prize winners typically will be drawn and contacted the following week
  • There are no more paper tickets! This means you can spend more time reading and less time filling out tickets!
