Miles de películas en español, programas de televisión y espectáculos en vivo están disponibles para el acceso desde tu móvil y en línea a través de una asociación con The Shelf -todo lo que necesitas es una ¡tarjeta de la biblioteca válida!
Así es cómo se usa
Se puede acceder a The Shelf a través de un navegador web o una aplicación móvil. Haga clic aquí para acceder a través del navegador
La aplicación móvil The Shelf se puede encontrar en Apple App Store o Google Play Store. Busque “The Shelf TV” y descargue la aplicación. Para obtener los mejores resultados, se recomienda utilizar las últimas versiones tanto del sistema operativo como de la aplicación The Shelf.
Regístrate
- Dirígete a TheShelf.tv
- Haz clic en “Iniciar sesión” en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla
- Haz clic en “Crear cuenta nueva”
- Introduce tu correo electrónico y crea una contraseña
- Elija “Estados Unidos” y, a continuación, elija “Hackettstown Free Public Library” de la lista de bibliotecas
- Introduce tu número de tarjeta de biblioteca, PIN (normalmente los 4 últimos dígitos de tu número de tarjeta de biblioteca), nombre y fecha de nacimiento
- Acepta la política

Búsqueda y streaming
Busca películas, documentales, programas de televisión y espectáculos. Para ver un título, haga clic en él y seleccione “Ver ahora”. Guárdalo en tu lista haciendo clic en “Guardar para después”.
The Shelf también cuenta con una Zona Infantil independiente, con magníficos contenidos para los más pequeños.
Tickets
En The Shelf, hay dos tipos de contenidos: consumo ilimitado y un sistema de tickets. Las series de TV no requieren tickets, mientras que las películas y artes escénicas sí. La Biblioteca te proporcionará semanalmente un paquete de 5 tickets para que los gastes como quieras. ¡Aprovecha cada uno de ellos!
El total de tus tickets aparecerá en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla cuando inicies sesión.

The Shelf is available at the Hackettstown Library!

Here’s how to use it
The Shelf can be accessed via web browser or mobile app. Click here to access via browser.
The Shelf mobile app can be found in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Search for “The Shelf TV” and download the app. For the best results, it is recommended to use the latest versions of both the operating system and The Shelf app.
Sign Up
- Go to TheShelf.tv
- Click on “Log In” in the top right corner of the screen
- Click on “Create New Account”
- Enter your email and create a password
- Choose “United States” and then choose “Hackettstown Free Public Library” from the list of libraries
- Fill in your library card number, PIN (usually last 4 digits of your library card number), name, and birthdate
- Agree to the policy
- Enjoy!
Search & Stream
Search for movies, documentaries, TV shows, and performances. Watch a title by clicking on it and choosing “Watch Now.” Save it to your watchlist by clicking “Watch It Later.”
The Shelf also has a separate Kids Zone, with great content for young viewers!
Tickets
On The Shelf, there are two types of content: unlimited consumption and a ticket system. TV series do not require tickets while movies and performances do. The Library will provide you weekly with a package of 5 tickets to spend as you wish. Take advantage of each and every one of them!
Your ticket total will be listed in the top right of the screen when you are logged in.
