William Shakespeare has been turned into a mythological figure and often presented as a mark of a person’s advanced education. He was, in reality, a wealthy playwright known to his contemporaries and disliked by rival playwrights who could not put bodies in the seats as well as he did. Join Dr. Peter Lubrecht as he examines the man as related to his writings.
This program is open to the public and will feature refreshments. It will be taking place at the Schenk Lodge at House of the Good Shepherd – 798 Willow Grove St., Hackettstown.
