While there are medical conditions that can affect both men and women, there are a host of issues that are only specific to men.  In a survey released by the Cleveland Clinic in 2022, 55% of men say they do not get regular health screenings; this is more prevalent among men of color (white, 53% vs. non-white, 63%).  Regardless of the reason, it is important for men to take their health seriously and understand some common medical conditions that can directly affect them.  Please join us as Dr. Eddie Akrout, Board Certified Family Medicine Physician from Capital Health, discusses:

  • Age-related preventative screenings
  • Low testosterone
  • Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
  • Erectile dysfunction

Dr. Eddie Akrout is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with Capital Health.  He grew up in Burlington County and graduated from Lake Erie College of Medicine Medical School in 2016.  Additionally, he completed his Residency Training at Inspira in Vineland, NJ.  When he is not working, you can likely find him on the golf course.
