During the war year of 1777 George Washington chose Morristown, New Jersey as a winter encampment site because the little town was nestled on the highest point in North New Jersey; he and Martha settled into Arnold’s Tavern on the Green.
This presentation will tell about that winter.
This event is being held at Riverwalk Village at House of the Good Shepherd and on Zoom.
