When the Danish King and the Red Cross wanted to visit a concentration camp, the Nazi government offered a fake camp filled with soccer, orchestras, concerts, and “happy” prisoners for a scheduled visit. Theresienstadt in reality was a holding camp and a temporary stop on the way to the real camps.
This program is open to the public and will feature refreshments. It will be taking place at the House of the Good Shepherd – 798 Willow Grove St., Hackettstown.
This program is presented in-person and on ZOOM. ZOOM link will be emailed out to all registrants on the day of the event.
