Forward Deployment
March 11, 2026 @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Join us live for a virtual tour of the Forward-Deployed Galleries at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Guided by a museum educator, participants will explore the Marine Corps’ global operations from 1976 to the present day, including missions in Grenada, Beirut, the Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan. This immersive experience highlights the evolution of military technology, the rise of Marine Special Operations, and the expanding roles of women and Reservists in the Corps. Participants will also encounter powerful personal stories, replicated artifacts, and lifelike scenes that honor the service and sacrifice of Marines in recent history. This program offers a meaningful opportunity to better understand the modern Marine Corps and its role in an ever-changing world.
