Karl Theobold Lubrecht escaped to Switzerland during the 1848 Revolution in Germany. Once in Brooklyn during the Civil War, he became a graphic artist who chronicled Gilded Age and Civil War events.
This program is open to the public and will feature refreshments. It will be taking place at the House of the Good Shepherd – 798 Willow Grove St., Hackettstown.
