This program is for children entering 1st grade through 4th grade who already have basic reading skills and would like to practice their reading fluency. Participants will read to one of our youth volunteers (grades 5th-8th) for a 20 minute time slot. (Caregivers must remain at the library during their child’s reading session.) This program will begin Monday, July 11th and run on Mondays (3-4 pm) and Wednesdays (1-2 pm). Children will earn a sticker for their summer reading logs as well as an extra raffle ticket for our end of summer raffle prizes. Call the library @ 908-852-4936 to register for a time slot.
