Brian Deis, local astronomer, and President of MrStarGuy, LLC will give a talk on how to safely view and photograph the two upcoming solar eclipses.  Brian has been a lifetime astronomer and eclipse chaser, traveling the world to photograph solar eclipses. He currently resides in Wantage and makes good use of his home observatory to view, image, and teach about the universe.

This talk will highlight how to safely view and image the annular and total eclipses occurring this October and next April. In addition, he will explain the astrodynamics of eclipses on Earth as well as other celestial bodies.  If time permits, he will discuss the history of our galaxy.

The PowerPoint presentation and Brian’s humorous way of explaining a subject will make for an enjoyable evening.

This program is for adults and teens 15+
