On behalf of the Hackettstown Free Public Library, we want to thank the community for your ongoing support of the library.
In light of the rapidly evolving situation regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Board of Trustees has decided to close The Hackettstown Public Library from Tuesday, March 17 through Monday, March 30, at which time the closure will be reassessed.
We would like to remind you that you can use our website to renew your library materials, download digital content and use the library’s databases.
The M.A.I.N. Library Consortium has suspended library fines on all material effective immediately through April 30. Patrons whose library cards will expire within the 3/13/2019 – 4/29/2020 timeframe, have been extended to 4/30/20. M.A.I.N. has also increased the number of digital downloads (eBooks and eAudiobooks) available to each patron through April 30.
We will maintain public communication about our response to this issue through our usual outlets of email, social media and our website.
